This is in Jackson Hole where elk antlers are not wasted, but used to decorate public park entrances. I told Jared it is like making an arch out of left over arms. A little weird for me. Jared pointed out that to the local poulation however, it is probably more like art. Still weird though.
The Grand Teton Mountains
This unique place is called Hell's Half Acre where the movie 'Starship Troopers' was filmed. It really does look like a different planet.

Jared's family when they came to visit us in Rexburg for his 24th birthday party! (before the reunion)

The reunion at Fort Robinson, Nebraska: Jared, aunt, uncle, sister Sara, mom, dad.

The state park where the reunion was held. It was beautiful.

The mammoth museum located right on the old Fort grounds. Notice our matching reunion shirts. :)

This in on our way back from the reunion. Sara came with us and wanted to stop at yet another mammoth museum. Lots of mammoth remains have been found in Nebraska. Behind me is a sign that says, "Poo Sold Here." I laughed.

Sara and me

The Crazy Horse memorial that will likely never be finished. Only 10 family members are working on it without federal funding. His profile is visible and the straight rock below is supposed to be his arm pointing at the land.

Mount Rushmore entrance!

My very first time there!

Wyoming's Devil's Tower. It looks like it does not belong there at all and the visitor's center likes to sell things claiming that it was put there by aliens.

Us at Yellowstone National Park
I took several pictures of the wild flowers. They were gorgeous.

hey you were very close to us on your drive. Hell's Half Acre is about and 1/2 hour to an hour from our house. Are you headed back that way? Or are you already home? We miss you tons.
Wow, guys. I'm impressed. We lived in ND for almost 3 years and never went to any of those. Good for you! Thanks for sharing.
