Malea and James had their baby girl 3:30 AM Thursday, July 1st. Congratulations. She is 8 days early. At Malea's Dr. appointment yesterday, she was 80% effaced and dilated 3 cm, so we guess this little girl meant business.
Malea labored at home then when she couldn't stand it any more, she woke up James and they went to the near-by hospital. She was there all of 12 minutes, when she pushed, her water broke and another push or so, and she had her girl. Malea's body knows what it was doing. We are all so grateful that Mom and Baby and Dad are fine. Congratulations.
She is yet un-named but she was 6 lbs. 9 oz. 18 inches long, she is fair and blonde. Malea says she looks like James but has our squinty eyes. Jenn said, All babies have squinty eyes when they are born. True that. Our congrats and best wishes to James and Malea. We are so happy for you all.
