In an attempt to be follow the prophets' counsel to be self-sufficient, Jared and I have planted our own garden. Here are pictures of our neighbors helping us till the community garden, but we actually planted the seeds memorial day weekend with Jalea here. Thanks, Jalea, for the help! We planted the flowers, carrots, and pumpkins seeds the Millers gave us, plus watermelon, yellow squash, a lettuce mix, and a flower whose petals can made a medicinal tea for canker sores. We will see how that goes....

How exciting to see pictures of your BIG garden plot! Way to go Jaranda! Be sure to take pictures of the progress; as the plants get bigger... Be sure to water, water, water.
