My Kitchen Garden

With our wedding gift certificate to Emergency Essencials, Jared and I bought lots of useful treasures, including this bean sprouting kit. Later, I learned the old fashion way to sprout beans is to let them grow in a ventilated mason jar. Oh, well. I like this method of growing a garden indoors instead. These are some of the alfa alfa sprouts I "grew" and we enjoyed for a few days. I added them to our sandwiches and a chicken salad I served to the whole family. Eden especially enjoyed snacking on them all by themselves. They were delicious and nutritious! I've got a couple of jars for those that want to give it a try. :)
